| Learning Inc.' s mission is to reengage Baltimore City at-risk adolecents
ages 12 - 17, in the process of education and to provide them with academic
and life skills so that they may grow into caring and responsible adults
with economic opportunties. Learning Inc., a non-profit 501c3 organization,
directly targets at-risk Baltimore City middle school adolecents by offering
three distinct free-of-charge programs: The Learning Cooperative, Creative
Minds and The Big Show. |
| These programs challenge young people to discover their own natural abilities
and supports them in their efforts to shape their strengths into viable
strategies in order to achieve meaningful short and long term goals. Learning
Inc. seeks to create in youth the desire to take an active role in building
effective communities and problem-solving within their own communities.
It also strives to build cooperative networks across community boundaries
and create new opportunities where none yet exist. |
